about

This album is very diverse...like listening to a Beatles or Queen album. Lots of different styles and moods. The song, Rabbit Hole, is 1966 retro Psychedelic...think Revolver (backwards guitar, sitar and the same instruments and gear used on Revolver) with high vocals. There are rockers, 60s and 70s style pop rock, 80s Rock and everything in between

Notes from Mark
This album is just myself and Steve. Steve played Drums and I played and sung everything else (even...with my limited abilites...drums, on a couple of songs when, because of lockdown, Steve couldn't be at my Studio). Basically...Steve and I played live (Steve on drums and me on guitar) and then I added everything else and mixed it.
The live band is:
Mark Bram: Vocals, Guitars, Guitar Synth and Keyboards
Steve D’Andrea: Drums, Percussion and Backing Vocals
Stephen Fassbender: Bass
A note about Chris Hallam...
Chris was in the band, when we were in High School. We played together for a few years.
We reconnected in the mid 2000s and parted company in 2017.
During lock-down, Chris and I reconnected by phone. When lock-down ended, and Stephen couldn't make it for a while, Chris started jamming with us again. So, although Stephen is in the live band, Chris is a good friend and still around, jamming with us...which is why I put him behind a tree on the cover.
Now the thank you notes
First, I would like to thank Jonathan Gewirz, my patron, Taijiquan student and very dear friend, without whom none of this would have been possible.
Thanks to Frank Richotte, from Line 6, for his friendship and support. Thanks to Eric Klein, Ben Adian and the whole Helix team, for coming up with a piece of gear that changed my life. I’m not an official endorser...I'm saying this because Helix is just the best and Line 6 is second to none, when it comes to customer support.
A wave and thank you to everybody on TGP Helix thread. Great group of people.
Another wave and thank you to Jim, Stan, Bob and...Stephen at Noll Guitars (where Stephen works and does most of the mods to my guitars).
Thanks to Christian Wright, at Abbey Road, for his invaluable input (being deaf in my left ear...actually deaf, not hard of hearing...his input was really appreciated). Also thanks to Lucy and Peach at Abbey Road for their help with the odd glitch.
Steve and I have been playing together, on and off, since I was 12 years old and he was 13. He’s like my brother (good and bad...lol) and I’m thankful for his friendship.
Lastly and certainly not least...My wife, Katya. My other half. She makes my life infinitely interesting. I don't know what I’d do without her. I don't know of anybody who would put up with my gear and music obsession or not give me grief about the never ending money pit that is gear and music.
